Since 2001, Helena has been with the Czech Greenways Association, a non-profit organization where she works as a financial project manager, mainly in education. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Czech Technical University. At the LOCIKA Center, she is in charge of financial management, especially of projects and grants and our cooperation with an accounting firm. Her goal is to properly account for all grants and ensure the proper functioning of financial flows at the LOCIKA Center.

Petra is the founder and director of the LOCIKA Center. She established LOCIKA based on her many years of experience as a child therapist and art therapist. For more than 15 years, she worked with children traumatized by domestic violence in the ACORUS Shelter. Petra is a member of the Government Committee for the Prevention of Domestic and Sexual Violence, a member of the Czech Institute of Biosynthesis and the Czech Art Therapy Association. She publishes and regularly lectures on children and domestic violence issues.

Klára has been working as a therapist for a long time. She has been focusing on working with parents and children her entire career. She started off as a social worker in state administration. Later, she gained experience in the social aspects of the non-profit sector where she worked with entire families as well as their individual members. She studied at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, she was trained in Rogerian psychotherapy and counseling in Prague. She completed complementary training in pair and family therapy. She successfully completed mediation training at the Association of Mediators. In addition, she underwent training in telephone crisis intervention. She gained international experience during her internship in England in 2014. In addition to the LOCIKA Center, she volunteers at the Social Clinic.
Mgr. Zdeňka Bartošová

Zdeňka studied Social Work and Social Policy at Hradec Králové University. During her career, she has worked as a social worker / social therapist, mostly in the non-profit sector. In recent years, she has been focusing mostly on alternative family care where she specializes on contact between children and their biological families. Zdeňka also has extensive experience in working with young people who have spent part of their lives in institutional care and are struggling with the consequences of attachment disorders. She has undergone SUR psychotherapy training, training in dyadic development psychotherapy, a telephone crisis intervention course, the White Circle of Safety Training in Domestic Violence and a number of other specialized courses in psychotherapy, reeducation and social rehabilitation. She has been continuously involved in the operation of various crisis lines in Prague. In addition, she also worked in the Children's Crisis Center for a long time, the in the House of Open Opportunities - DOM Halfway House and the Natama Family Care Institute.

Soňa studied psychology at the Charles University, Faculty of Education. During her studies, she worked as a volunteer in LATA where she helped children and young people in difficult situations; after school, she worked in La Strada that focuses on helping and supporting victims of human trafficking. Currently, she works at the LOCIKA Center as a psychologist and a guide for parents. She has completed crisis intervention and motivational interviews courses, and trauma training courses. She has done internships in facilities where clients work on coping with aggression and violence. Soňa is currently participating in a five-year self-experience therapy training in systemic therapy called Therapy in Postmodern Times organized by Gaudia.

Markéta has been working at the Children Center at the Thomayer Hospital as a child psychologist and focusing on psychodiagnostics in small children for many years. She has also been a consultant for the White Circle of Safety for a long time where she specializes in counseling for victims of crime. Markéta graduated from a single-specialization psychology program at FFUK where she also graduated from an internal doctoral program. She completed an accredited five-year training program in group psychoanalytic psychotherapy with Associate Professor Kocourek and a training program in psychoanalytic couple and family therapy with Lucie Lucká and Slavoj Titl. She also has her own private practice. She continuously improves her professional skills. She publishes and lectures.

Eliška graduated from a single-specialization psychology program at Charles University in Prague, completed a Psychology in Healthcare course and she is currently completing training in child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy at ČSPAP. She has also been attending a training course in crisis intervention and working with children in crisis. She works at LOCIKA as a child psychologist and therapist. She also works at a private clinic in Karlovo náměstí where she focuses on children and adults.

Petra has been focusing on socially disadvantaged children and their parents for a long time. For several years, she worked as a therapist in the youth community at risk of drug addiction at the Řevnice Youth Center. In Acorus, a shelter for people at risk of domestic violence, she led art therapy groups for children and mothers, and provided individual therapy for children. Petra studied psychology and art therapy. She has undergone SUR training in group psychotherapy. When working with children, she likes to use the sandplay method which she continues to study. She is interested in the issues of relationship attachment. In addition to working at the LOCIKA Center, she participates in the Vhled Organization's program called "SÁMOVKA Kindergarden", where she provides psychotherapy to preschool children in alternative family care and psychological support for their caregivers.

Aneta is currently finishing a media studies program at the Charles University in Prague and at LOCIKA she is in charge of events for professionals and general public as well as individual donations and campaigns. She has been in the non-profit sector for six years, she was managing her own project for two years and then she was involved in mapping the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic in another organization. She has been interested in family relationships and alternative forms of education for many years.

During her long career as a social worker, she focused, among other things, on studying intuitive parenting and became a certified video trainer. For more than 14 years, she has been guiding families in the re-establishment of contact between parents and children. As the name suggests, she uses short videos of your everyday life that allow her to help you identify difficulties and show the right forms of correction. The whole charm of this method is built on understanding ourselves and others with whom we are in contact. Aneta is currently on parental leave but still works at the LOCIKA Center as a therapist in a children's psychotherapy group. Aneta graduated from a single-specialization psychology program at the Charles University and a psychosocial studies program at HTF UK. Since the beginning of her studies, she has been interested in working with people in difficult life situations and has been working crisis telephone lines for many years. Thanks to her training in psychodynamic psychotherapy (SUR), she also started to work as a psychotherapist and lead children's groups at OSPOD in Horní Počernice before joining LOCIKA as a child psychologist.

Eva is in charge of project management at LOCIKA. She develops Czech and foreign partnerships and makes sure that our organization has enough resources to provide its services, ensure their continuity and sustainability. Eva completed her university studies in London where she earned a BA in International Relations and Development Studies and an MSc. in Violence, Conflict and Development from the University of London. Prior to joining LOCIKA in February 2018, she worked for eight years as a project and fundraising manager for humanitarian and development organizations in Australia, Asia, Latin America and Central Europe. Similarly to LOCIKA, these organizations also focus on violence against children.

Magda participates in PR activities of the center and takes care of social media. She graduated from a management of non-profit organizations program at the Department of the Civil Sector at Charles University. For many years, Magda worked as a volunteer with children and the youth in SOJKA Youth Association where she was actively involved in organizing Czech-German camps, workshops, symposiums and other events as the executive vice-chairperson. She was a lecturer on project management for NGO staff within the Beyond Everyday Lives program of the TANDEM Czech-German Youth Exchange Coordination Center. She completed an internship in Munich, Germany. After graduating, she worked as a community planning coordinator at the Brno City Endowment Fund where she implemented a methodological and grant project for non-profit organizations applying for grants from European funds. For many years, she has been interested in the professionalization of non-profit sector employees.

Lenka studied in a single-specialization psychology program at FFUK in Prague. She focused on development, pediatric and social psychology and she is the author of the publication entitled "Internet Crimes Perpetrated Against Children". For more than eight years, she has been involved in crisis intervention and psychological counseling. She specializes in the CAN syndrome (syndrome of an abused and neglected child) and family problems. She has many years of experience working at the Safety Help Line, Psychopomoc Psychological Help Line and the Children's Crisis Center's Help Line which she was in charge of for several years. Currently, she works as a school psychologist, has her own private practice where she works with adult and pediatric clients, and is completing her training in Rogerian psychotherapy and counseling, play therapy and music therapy.

Barbora studied psychology at FSS MU in Brno. She is currently completing long-term self-experience training in C. G. Jung's analytical psychology. She has also undergone other specialized courses and trainings: Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Crisis Intervention, Motivational Interviews, Sandplay, Focusing, etc. In addition to analytical practices, she is inspired by postmodern and dialogic approaches and body-oriented approaches, mindfulness. She has extensive experience in working with children and adolescents in biological families, institutional care and foster care. She also enjoys working with adults.

Kateřina earned a degree in social work and social policy from the University of Hradec Králové, followed by a social education program. She started her professional career as a professional educator/therapist at the Klíčov Youth Center in the department for the youth at risk of drug addiction. Since 1998, she has been providing counseling to people at risk of domestic violence. She has undergone training in telephone crisis intervention and motivational interviews. She publishes and lectures on domestic violence issues.

Karel has worked as a child psychologist and therapist for five years. His main focus is primarily on long-term individual psychotherapy for children and counseling for their parents. He is undergoing analytical (Jungian) psychotherapy training, and broadening his knowledge by studying psychoanalytic theories of personality development and change processes. Outside of LOCIKA, he has his own child psychology and psychotherapy practice in Prague 8, Karlín.

Martin studied psychology and sociology at FSS MU in Brno and andragogy with specialization in human resources management at FF UP in Olomouc. Later, he graduated from a school psychologist program at FF UP in Olomouc and earned a degree as a preventionist at Charles University in Prague. He has completed a five-year psychodynamics-oriented training program in psychotherapy at SUR, a five-year training program in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, a four-year training program in family therapy focusing on psychosomatic disorders, training in dyadic psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, sand play and many other specialized child and family training programs. Currently, he is completing training in child psychoanalytic psychotherapy at ČSPAP. He worked as a school psychologist, a primary prevention lecturer and methodologist, a social worker in an organization for at-risk children and youth and a psychotherapist. In recent years, he has been working mainly with adopted and fostered children. Children remain his main focus; however, he tends to put increasingly more emphasis on working with the entire family system. He is a supervisor at LOCIKA.
